There are many ways to prepare zucchini for the winter. They are dried, salted, frozen and fermented. I most often use standard recipes and zucchini with carrots is one of them. Try it, maybe you will like this option too.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 2 kg
- Carrots - 200 g
- Dill - 50 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 60 ml
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 50 g
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Slice the zucchini and carrots.
Put the dill and chopped vegetables in jars.
Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 20 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil again. Add sugar, salt and vinegar.
Pour the boiling marinade into jars with zucchini, roll up and turn upside down.
