Sweet apples combined with sour sea buckthorn are an ideal base for jam for winter. It can be smeared on bread, served with tea or used as a filling – a very versatile preparation. I tell you how to cook it, in more detail.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 1.5 kg
  • Sea buckthorn - 700 g
  • Sugar - 2 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the apples, rinse the sea buckthorn and cover everything with sugar.

Pour in the water and boil the variene for 15 minutes.

Let it cool for 1-1.5 hours, boil again and add spices.

Boil for another 10 minutes, add citric acid and roll into jars.
