This pea soup is good because you can change its consistency yourself. For example, grind it with a blender completely or kill only part of the grounds. I advise you to serve it with crackers and toasted bacon.
Ingredients
- Peas - 200 g
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Smoked meat - 250 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
- Water - 1.5 l
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas in advance, preferably overnight.
Grate the carrots, chop the onion and fry in oil for 10 minutes in vegetable frying mode.
Add the chopped smoked meat and potatoes there, and fry for another 5 minutes.
Add the washed peas, spices and water.
Cook soup in a slow cooker in the soup mode for 1.5 hours.
Grind the mass with a blender to the desired consistency.
