There are a lot of different recipes for plum compote, but this is one of my favorites. It is here that the most balanced combination of sweetness and sourness is obtained for my taste. And it is also very easy to prepare directly from whole fruits.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plum and put it in sterile jars.
Boil water with sugar, pour into jars and leave for 10 minutes under the lids.
Drain the syrup, add lemon juice, boil again and pour back in.
Sterilize the jars in boiling water for 15 minutes and roll up the compote.
