Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1 kg
- Tomato juice - 1 l
- Garlic - 8 teeth
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Vinegar (9%) – 35 ml
- Salt - 10 g
- Sugar - 40 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash cucumbers, cut into circles 1.5-2.5 cm thick.
Peel the garlic and cut into large slices.
Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan, add tomato juice, salt and sugar. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and boil the tomato juice to the consistency of the sauce.
Add garlic and sliced cucumbers. Boil everything together for 10 minutes over low heat. At the end of cooking, pour in the vinegar, stir and remove the saucepan from the heat.
Pack the hot blank into sterile jars, seal tightly and cool at room temperature. Store the cooled cucumbers in a tomato in a cool dark place.
