It's amazing how many delicious dishes can be made from pita bread. Another discovery for me was soup with dumplings. Instead of flour, ground thin pita bread is used here. Everything is extremely simple, but not without its secrets. I share the original recipe with you!
Ingredients
- Dill - 2 twigs
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken broth - 1,5 l
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Lavash (thin) – 350 g
- Ground ginger - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water (cold) – 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Break the pre-dried lavash into small pieces and pass it through a meat grinder.
Put the resulting flour in a deep bowl and pour cold water for 15 minutes.
Throw the mass into a colander and squeeze out the excess liquid.
Beat eggs with salt and ground ginger. Add the mass of pita bread, mix well and put it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
Form identical balls with a spoon, throw them into boiling broth and boil for 15 minutes.
Add salt, sprinkle with chopped dill and turn off the soup after 2 minutes.
