When the body suffers from a lack of vitamins, and the soul suffers from a lack of bright colors, canned salad “Generalsky" will come to the rescue. A bright mix of vegetables will diversify the boring winter menu and decorate any table. A pleasant memory of summer in a jar!
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cabbage. Cut the onion into large half rings, peel the carrots and grate them on a Korean carrot grater.
Peel the bell pepper from the seeds and stalks, cut into cubes.
Cut cucumbers into thin circles, tomatoes into slices. Rinse the parsley, dry it slightly and chop it finely.
Combine the vegetables in a large bowl, add salt, sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil. Stir and leave the salad at room temperature for 3 hours.
Then pack the salad in pre-sterilized jars and pour the resulting marinade. Cover the jars with sterile lids and send them to be sterilized in a pot of water for 20 minutes.
After sterilizing the salad jars, roll them up, turn them upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the cooled General's salad in a cool, dark place.
