Finely chop the cabbage, grate the carrots and finely chop the apples. Mix the cabbage with sugar and salt.
Put everything in jars in layers, adding pepper, bay leaf and spices to taste.
Leave the blanks for 3-4 days at room temperature. Every day, pierce the cabbage to the bottom with a wooden skewer.
Close the cabbage cans and put them in a cold place for storage.
