This light and refreshing jam is made using a natural thickener – agar-agar, which makes it thicker and jelly-like. It allows you to use less sugar, and also enhances the taste and aroma of ripe plums.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the bones from the drains. Grind half of the plums with a blender, and pour half with water and boil for 15 minutes.
Add agar-agar to the plum puree, stir and leave for 15 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients together, add citric acid and bring the jam to a boil.
Boil it for 10-15 minutes on low heat and roll it into sterile jars.
