A very unusual, but at the same time very easy–to-prepare preparation for the winter - sweet and thick melon jam. It seems that this is some kind of curiosity, but in fact it is incredibly simple to prepare. And then I'll tell you how.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the melon, remove the bones and thinly slice the pulp.
Cover it with sugar and leave it overnight.
Add water and juice of one lemon. Cut the second lemon into plates and send it to the same place.
Cook the jam for about an hour on low heat, stirring.
Rub it through a sieve, bring it to a boil again and roll it into sterile jars.
