The easiest way to enjoy fresh and crispy cucumbers all year round is to roll pickles in jars for the winter. They are prepared quickly and easily, and then they can be eaten this way or used to prepare salads and other dishes.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 2 kg
- Horseradish - 3 sheet
- Cherry leaves - 4 pieces
- Currant leaves - 4 pieces
- Dill - 2 umbrella
- Garlic - 8 teeth
- Salt - 3 art.l.
- Water - 2 glasses
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Arrange cucumbers and all additives with spices in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water and leave to cool under the lids.
Drain this water, add salt and sugar to it, and boil it again.
Pour back and roll up the cucumbers for the winter.
