Absolutely any plum varieties are suitable for making jam, and each time it will be a different result. Today I want to focus in more detail on black plum jam. Of course, we will cook it without seeds, so that you can easily use it later even in fillings.
Ingredients
- Plums (black) – 1.5 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Cinnamon - 1 wand
- Star anise - 1 asterisk
- Carnation - 3 bud
- Lemon zest - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the plum and fill the halves with sugar.
Add a glass of water and bring to a boil.
Add spices and boil the jam for 40 minutes on low heat.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
