Wash the figs, cut off the tails and make an incision on each fruit with a cross.
Cover it with sugar, stir and leave for an hour.
Add water, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Cool it.
Add the chopped roasted nuts, boil again and boil the jam for another 5 minutes.
Leave it to infuse for 3 hours, pour in lemon juice, boil the jam for another 5 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
