Many people forget about such a delicious, healthy and versatile fruit as quince. But it perfectly diversifies the usual assortment of homemade preparations. And to make quince jam even more pleasant to cook, I tell you how to do without sterilization.

Ingredients

  • Quince - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
  • Water - 50 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the quince into slices, cover with sugar, pour in water and boil for half an hour on low heat, stirring.

Rub the mass through a sieve and boil for another 5 minutes.

Add citric acid and roll the jam into jars.
