Pumpkin juice with orange and lemon for winter
I know that not everyone likes pumpkin dishes, but I recommend that you try to prepare healthy and fragrant pumpkin juice for the winter. Orange and lemon give this specific, rich drink a pleasant citrus aftertaste. You will like it!
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the pumpkin, peel and peel the seeds, cut the pulp into small pieces.
Place the prepared pumpkin in a cooking pot, pour boiled water so that the water covers the pieces completely. Place the workpiece on the fire and bring to a boil.
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and oranges.
Send the squeezed halves of oranges to the pumpkin in a saucepan and cook everything together until the pumpkin is ready, not forgetting to stir. Then remove the pan from the heat, remove the orange peel, and cool the pumpkin slightly.
Beat the warm pumpkin mass with a blender until a homogeneous puree.
In a separate large saucepan, combine 6 liters of water and sugar, bring to a boil and boil for 1-2 minutes over low heat. I indicate the amount of sugar in the recipe approximately - focus on your taste and the sweetness of the pumpkin itself.
Add citrus juice and sugar syrup to pumpkin puree. Stir, bring to a boil, add citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour the hot pumpkin juice into pre-prepared sterile jars, roll it up, turn it upside down, wrap it up and leave it to cool completely. Store the cooled juice in a cool, dark place.
