With reasonable application, aromatic herbs can turn ordinary dishes into a real masterpiece of culinary art. Tomatoes with parsley are an excellent proof of this. I do not recommend adding spices and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 2 kg
  • Parsley - 20 g
  • Vinegar - 60 ml
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Salt - 60 g
  • Water (filtered) – 1,8 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pierce each tomato with a needle in several places. Thanks to this, vegetables will not burst under the influence of boiling water.

Put tomatoes mixed with whole sprigs of parsley in jars.

Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and boil for 2 minutes.

Turn off the heat, add vinegar and pour the hot marinade into jars. Roll up and wrap up with a thick towel for a day.
