Another original way to keep the summer mood for the winter months is pickled plums. I use only fresh and ripe fruits to get the most intense taste. Pickled plums can be used as a separate dish or added to different salads.
Ingredients
- Plums - 2 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l .
- Carnation - 4 bud
- Black Pepper - 15 peas
- Allspice - 4 peas
- Chili pepper - 0.5 pieces
- Cumin - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put all the spices and additives in the jar. Then fill it with washed plums.
Dissolve the salt in cold water and pour over the plums. Pour in a spoonful of oil.
Tamp them tightly and close the lid.
Send the plums to be fermented for at least a couple of weeks in a cold place, like a cellar.
