Pumpkin is a wonderful ingredient for a wide variety of tasks. Even for the winter, it turns out equally well as sweet jam, and such a spicy savory snack. Further in the recipe I will tell you in more detail how to cook it.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 1.5 kg
- Orange - 1 piece
- Chili pepper - 2-3 pieces
- Rosemary - 2 twigs
- Garlic - 1 head
- Carnation - 1 tsp.
- Allspice (with peas) – 1 art.l.
- Currant leaves - 6 pieces
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the orange and pumpkin into cubes, chop the chili with garlic and rosemary, and arrange all the ingredients in sterilized jars.
Pour boiling water, leave for 5 minutes, drain the water and boil it again.
Add sugar, salt and vinegar, boil for 5 minutes and pour the pumpkin again.
Roll up the jars with lids.
