When a garden pear pleases with a generous harvest, a natural question immediately arises – what to do with it. In this case, I already have a great offer for you. This jam was cooked by my mother, so the recipe has literally been tested for generations!

Ingredients

  • Pear (sadovaya) – 1 kg
  • Sugar - 800 g
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel and finely chop the pear.

Mix with sugar and citric acid. Leave it for a couple of hours.

Bring the workpiece to a boil.

Cook the jam for 30 minutes on low heat, stirring.

Roll it up in sterilized jars for the winter.
