Pork knuckle broth is one of my favorite meat broth options. I tell you what to put and how much to cook it so that it will definitely succeed. And then you can add some vegetables, noodles or cereals to your taste.
Ingredients
- Pork Knuckle - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Celery root - 1 piece
- Parsnip - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 head
- Onion - 1 piece
- Greenery (stems) – 0.5 beam
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Allspice - 10 peas
- Coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground fennel - 0.5 tsp.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the knuckle and soak it in cold water for a day, changing it periodically.
Fill the knuckle with water so that it completely covers it, bring to a boil and drain the water. Repeat this step.
Arbitrarily coarsely chop all the vegetables and roots.
For the third time, add all the other ingredients and spices to the pan, pour water again and cook the broth for about 4 hours, removing the foam.
Strain the broth before serving.
