Plum in seedless syrup for winter
Plums in sugar syrup are a multifunctional preparation beloved by many housewives. This is a delicious treat in itself and an ideal filling for sweet pies, pies and cakes. Sweet syrup can be added to teas, compotes and even to chicken marinade!
Ingredients
- Plums - 600 g
- Water - 180 ml
- Sugar - 1,5 glasses
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plums, dry them slightly, divide them into halves and remove the bones.
Tightly place the halves of the plums in pre-sterilized jars.
Boil water and pour boiling water over the fruits in jars. Cover the jars with sterile lids and leave for 10 minutes to warm up.
Pour sugar into a saucepan, add lemon juice and drain the liquid from the jars with plums. Bring the syrup to a boil and boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour boiling syrup over the halves of the plums in jars to the top and immediately roll up. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the cooled plums in syrup in a cool dark place.
