This is probably one of the best ways to preserve the natural taste of vegetables. Tomatoes in their own juice are cooked in Bulgarian without extra additives, garlic and herbs. Such a billet can be used in cooking and served as a snack.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 5 kg
- Vinegar - 180 ml
- Peppers mixture - 1 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 140 g
- Salt - 120 g
- Tomato juice - 4 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put tomatoes and spices in jars.
Boil the tomato juice, add sugar and salt.
Boil for 2 minutes and pour into jars.
Sterilize for 20 minutes, evenly distribute the vinegar over the jars and roll up.
