If you like pickled store-bought squash, I suggest you learn how to make them yourself. Moreover, there is nothing complicated about it. If you come across small fruits, leave them whole, and large ones – first cut to taste.
Ingredients
For Patissons :
- Patissons - 1.5 kg
- Cherry leaves - 2 pieces
- Currant leaves - 2 pieces
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Dill - 4 umbrella
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
- Garlic - 2 clove
For marinade:
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tbsp.l.
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Vinegar - 6 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put all the ingredients for the squash into sterile jars.
Pour boiling water over them and leave them under the lids for 15 minutes. Drain this water.
Boil clean water for the marinade, add all the spices, boil for a couple of minutes and pour in the vinegar.
Fill the patissons in jars and roll up the lids.
