Wild mountain ash is a rather peculiar berry that you need to work with competently. So it will not be tart or bitter. In fact, it's not difficult at all, if you immediately take into account a couple of tricks, which I'll tell you about later.
Ingredients
- Mountain Ash (wild) – 500 g
- Sugar - 800 g
- Water - 300 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup until dissolved.
Wash and sort the rowan, pour boiling syrup and let it cool completely.
Bring the rowan to a boil and boil for another half hour.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
