Cucumber salad with garlic in winter will perfectly complement boiled or fried potatoes, suitable for meat dishes and various side dishes. It is prepared simply and from simple ingredients. The fragrant billet will certainly please your loved ones in the cold season.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 8 teeth
  • Vegetable oil (refined) – 40 ml
  • Vinegar (9%) – 50 ml
  • Sugar - 40 g
  • Salt - 20 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the cucumbers and cut them into thin circles. Chop the garlic.

Mix cucumbers and garlic in a bowl, add salt, sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix the salad and leave at room temperature for 1-1.5 hours to form juice.

Then put the salad together with the juice into sterile jars (the liquid should reach the “shoulders” of the jars). Cover the jars with sterile lids and send them to be sterilized in a saucepan with water (the sterilization time of 0.5 l cans is 15 minutes from the moment the water boils in the saucepan).

After sterilization, roll up the jars, turn them upside down, wrap them up and leave to cool. Canned cucumber salad with garlic is perfectly stored at room temperature.
