Although dried apricots are quite an independent product for long-term storage, they make an incredibly delicious and fragrant jam. The main nuance here is that you need to carefully add sugar, because most often dried apricots are already very sweet.
Ingredients
- Dried apricots - 500 g
- Water - 1-1.5 l
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the dried apricots with water and leave overnight, and then flip them into a colander.
Fill it with a liter of clean water and bring it to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes.
Add sugar, stir and boil the jam over medium heat until it dissolves.
Beat the mass with a blender, bring it to a boil again and boil it to the desired density.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
