One of my favorite vegetable preparations for the winter is spicy beetroot. When ordinary cucumbers and tomatoes are tired, it's time for experiments. This recipe is incredibly simple, and a ready-made snack can be eaten just like that or added to other dishes when cooking.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 700 g
- Garlic - 1 head
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Water - 600 ml
- Vinegar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the beets until tender, cool, peel and cut into slices.
Put in sterilized jars with garlic, chili slices and spices to taste.
Boil water with salt, sugar and vinegar.
Pour in the beets, sterilize the jars for 15 minutes and roll up.
