Jams and jams are good, but it is also necessary to prepare blackcurrant syrup for the winter. To do this, you will need fresh and maximally ripe berries, as well as a stainless steel saucepan. Cook over low heat and do not leave unattended for a long time.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Clean the black currant from dry tails and rinse thoroughly.

Chop the berries in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.

Add water and simmer for 10 minutes.

Strain through a double layer of gauze or wipe through a sieve.

Mix the resulting liquid with sugar and boil for 20 minutes.

Pour the syrup into clean, dry jars and roll up.
