Citrus jam will not surprise anyone anymore. Oranges, lemons – what they don't make it out of. Today I propose to roll up a couple of jars of kumquat. Moreover, it is also very convenient to work with him. And, of course, it is incredibly useful.

Ingredients

  • Kumquat - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the kumquat thoroughly, cut into quarters and remove the seeds.

Cover with sugar, add water, bring to a boil and boil over low heat for 5 minutes.

Let the jam cool for about an hour, and repeat the previous step.

Let the jam cool again, bring it to a boil again, add citric acid, and roll it into jars.
