In almost every home, cherry jam leads the list of popular preparations for the winter. Every housewife has her own recipe. I like to cook it without pits and gelatin. Yes, it is a long and time-consuming process, but I like to pamper my family.
Ingredients
- Cherry - 3 kg
- Sugar - 1,5 kg
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cherry, using a pin or a special device, remove the bones.
Put the cherries through a meat grinder or grind them in a blender.
Pour the workpiece into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add water and cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
Add sugar, citric acid and boil for another 30 minutes.
Put the finished jam in sterilized jars and roll it up.
