Usually such preservation is prepared from overgrown and twisted cucumbers. It is enough to peel them from the peel, seeds and cut them into arbitrary pieces. For this reason, cucumber salad with onion and butter can be attributed to budget preparations for the winter.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1,5 kg
- Onion - 500 g
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 120 ml
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Mustard Seeds - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1,5 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut cucumbers and peeled onions.
Mix the vegetables in a deep saucepan, add sugar, salt, mustard seeds and oil. Cover with a lid and leave for 1 hour.
Put the pan on low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, stir and turn off the heat.
Fill sterilized jars with hot salad and roll them up.
