The most delicious jam is obtained from unripe pears. The dense pulp does not boil during cooking, and it is easy to compensate for excessive sourness with sugar. Additionally, I add a little ground cinnamon, but this is not necessary.
Ingredients
- Pear (unripe) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Lemon juice - 3 tbsp.l .
- Ground cinnamon - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - half a glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel pears, seeds and cut into small pieces.
Put the workpiece in a deep saucepan, add sugar and put aside for 4-5 hours.
Add water, boil for 5 minutes after boiling and cool.
Repeat the procedure twice. The second time, add lemon juice and ground cinnamon. Boil everything together for 5 minutes, put it in sterilized jars and roll it up.
