Wash the tomatoes and peel them. To do this, make a cross-shaped incision on each, lower it into boiling water for a couple of minutes, and then pour cold water over it. Now you can remove the skin. It's much easier and faster this way.

Finely chop the peeled tomatoes and place them in a cooking pot.

Chop the chili pepper (if you like it sharper, do not peel the chili from the seeds) and send it to the tomatoes in a saucepan.

Add the tomato paste, mix everything well, bring to a boil and boil the workpiece over low heat, stirring, until thickened (1.5-2 hours).

Add salt, sugar and spices, add vinegar. Stir and boil for another 5-7 minutes.

Pour boiling tomato jam into pre-sterilized jars, seal tightly and cool. Store the cooled workpiece in a cool, dark place.
