Of all the jam I've tried, peach is one of the thickest and most fragrant. There is a lot of pectin in fruits, so the preparation is perfectly gelled without any additives. Very tasty with tea and cottage cheese!
Ingredients
- Peaches - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1.5 kg
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Choose ripe peaches, rinse, peel them and remove the seeds.
Finely chop the pulp or chop it with a food processor. But it is not advised to beat it with a blender until smooth.
Mix the peaches with sugar and leave for an hour.
Put the workpiece on the stove and cook for 20 to 60 minutes, depending on how thick the jam you want. Stir the peaches constantly.
At the end, add lemon juice, mix the jam again and roll it into sterilized jars.
