Lemon can not only be added to other jams, but also make it an independent basis for harvesting. It turns out an incredibly fragrant and original treat for tea and an addition to other desserts and pastries. I recommend using whole citrus fruits with zest.

Ingredients

  • Lemon - 4 pieces
  • Water - 2 glasses
  • Sugar - 2 glasses

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the zest from the lemons and boil for 10 minutes in boiling water.

Drain this water and fill it with clean. Boil for another 10 minutes and drain again.

Chop the zest.

Peel the lemon pulp from the white films and grind it in a blender.

Mix with zest, sugar and 2 cups of water.

Bring to a boil and boil the jam for about an hour on low heat.

Roll it up in sterile jars.
