Spicy tomatoes are specially created to warm and cheer up in the cold winter. This snack will complement any kind of meat and any side dishes well. Tomatoes turn out to be very burning! I think fans of spicy snacks will appreciate it.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 3 kg
  • Carrots - 500 g
  • Onion - 250 g
  • Garlic - 120 g
  • Chili pepper - 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - 200 ml
  • Vinegar (9%) – 100 ml
  • Spices and seasonings (for Korean carrots) – 15 g
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Salt - 60 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash tomatoes, cut into slices. Peel the carrots and grate them on a Korean carrot grater. Cut the onion into thin half rings, chili pepper into rings, chop the garlic.

Combine the prepared vegetables in a bowl, add salt, sugar, seasoning for Korean carrots, vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix everything well and leave to marinate for 30-40 minutes.

Then put the vegetables in pre-sterilized jars, pour the marinade from the bowl to the top. Cover the jars with sterile lids and send them to be sterilized in a pot of boiling water (the sterilization time for 0.5 l cans is 15 minutes from the moment the water boils in the pan).

After sterilization, close the jars tightly and cool at room temperature. Store the spicy tomatoes in a cool, dark place.
