Bulgarian pepper in blanks is just great! It is moderately sweet, spicy, fragrant, and in addition – very bright and beautiful. Everything that is so lacking on cold winter evenings. It is enough to open one jar – and now the mood is much better!

Ingredients

  • Bell pepper - 1.5 kg
  • Sugar - 0.5 glasses
  • Vinegar (9%) – 0.5 glasses
  • Vegetable oil - 0.5 glasses
  • Salt - 1 art.l.
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Bay leaf - 6 pieces
  • Allspice (with peas) – 9 pieces
  • Carnation - 3 pieces

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut juicy and fleshy bell peppers of different colors into large chunks. Be sure to remove the stems and seeds.

In an enameled saucepan, mix vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar and salt.

Warm up the mixture, add the remaining spices and boil until the sugar melts completely.

When the marinade boils, add the peeled garlic and part of the pepper to it. It is not necessary to lay the whole at once – then it will not cook evenly. So divide it into 2-3 parts.

Simmer the pepper in the marinade for about 15 minutes, transfer to a sterilized jar and immediately cover with a lid. Do the same with the remaining portions.

Spread the marinade from the pan evenly over the jars and roll up the snack.
