One of the best ways to prepare blackthorn for the winter, for my taste, is to pickle it. It turns out to be a great addition to the usual plate of pickles. Cucumbers and tomatoes are already difficult to surprise, but the blackthorn is really fresh.
Ingredients
- Plums (thorns) – 2 kg
- Water - 1.5 l
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l .
- Vinegar - 3 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Carnation - 6 buds
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 art.l.
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the prunes in sterile jars.
Boil the water with all the other ingredients and pour the blanks.
Let them cool under the lids, drain and boil the marinade and pour back in.
Roll up the thorns for the winter.
