Black currant jam can rightfully be called one of the brightest due to the expressive taste and aroma of this berry. But sometimes you even want to diversify it with something new. In this case, I suggest adding walnuts.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 1 kg
- Walnuts - 120 g
- Sugar - 800 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Go through the currants, cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Bring it to a boil and boil for 15 minutes.
Add chopped walnuts and boil the jam for another 20 minutes.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
