Classic plum compote plays with new colors, it's worth adding a little spice to it. This is one of the best recipes for spicy compote that I once made. We prefer to heat it and drink it hot, but it's also good cold.
Ingredients
- Plums - 600 g
- Sugar - 150 g
- Water - 2.5 l
- Cinnamon - 2 sticks
- Star anise - 2 asterisks
- Carnation - 6 buds
- Honey - 2 art.l.
- Orange peel - 1 art.l.
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the plums into slices, remove the seeds and put them in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water and leave under the lid for 10 minutes.
Drain the water, add sugar and all other ingredients to it.
Boil the syrup again and boil for a couple of minutes.
Pour the plum and roll up the jars.
