If you are worried about the safety of canned apricot compote, there is a simple solution. It is enough to add a little citric acid. And at the same time, it will give new shades to the taste of the drink, so that it is not too sweet.

Ingredients

  • Apricots - 500 g
  • Water - 3 l
  • Sugar - 300 g
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sort through the apricots, remove the seeds as desired and put the fruit in clean jars.

Pour boiling water and leave for 20 minutes under the lids.

Drain this water, add sugar to it and boil it again.

Add citric acid, pour apricots and roll up for the winter.
