Store-bought ketchup will never compare to homemade. There are benefits, well-known ingredients, and, of course, variety. For example, tomato and cherry plum ketchup. I recommend storing it in jars or glass bottles and using it as a seasoning for meat dishes or as a dip for fries.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put the peeled onions and apples on the bottom of the pan.

On top - cherry plum, and tomatoes on it.

Put everything in the oven for about 1.5 hours at 180 degrees.

Grind everything through a sieve. Add salt, sugar and spices to the puree to taste.

Boil the ketchup on low heat for another 1-1.5 hours.

Add vinegar and roll it into sterile jars.
