Wild pear is usually not too tasty to eat it just like that fresh. But it goes perfectly into cooking, and especially into all kinds of preparations. I tell you how to cook a beautiful thick jam from it, which will repeatedly help out in winter.

Ingredients

  • Pear (wild) – 1 kg
  • Sugar - 900 g
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Water - 200 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the pears, cut into slices, scald with boiling water and rinse with cold water. And so twice more.

Boil the syrup from water and sugar, and put the pears there. Leave it for a day.

Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Let cool and boil again for 10 minutes.

Chop the workpiece with a blender, add lemon juice and boil the jam to the desired density.

Roll up the jam in sterile jars.
