I prefer to cook tkemali in large batches at once in the season of fresh fruit, and then just roll the sauce for the winter in cans or bottles. Today I will share with you a classic Georgian plum recipe, and at the same time I will tell you how to do without sterilization.
Ingredients
- Plums - 1 kg
- Cilantro - 40 g
- Dill - 30 g
- Mint - 20 g
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Chili pepper - 10 g
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 2 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
- Hops-suneli - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the plums with a small amount of water and boil until soft.
Grind the fruit through a sieve.
Chop the greens, chili and garlic in a blender.
Mix all the ingredients and boil the tkemali for another 20 minutes.
Roll it up in clean, dry jars and store it in a cold place.
