An interesting recipe for connoisseurs of unusual pickles. Cook cucumbers in apple juice for the winter and your every meal with them will turn into a real holiday! Serve cucumbers as a snack, use for sandwiches and add to salads.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 3 kg
- Garlic - 50 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Mustard seeds - 0,5 tsp.
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Salt - 80 g
- Apple juice - 2,7 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Place spices and coarsely chopped garlic cloves in jars.
Pack the cucumbers tightly, trying to leave fewer voids in the jar.
Pour boiling apple juice, cover with lids and leave to warm up for half an hour.
Drain the juice into a saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil again.
Add vinegar, turn off the heat and pour into jars.
Roll the cucumbers in apple juice, turn the jars upside down and leave them warm for a day.
