Have you ever seen canned kiwis? Namely, I suggest trying to cook them this time. And even not in the form of a more obvious jam, but simply roll them into large jars with whole uncleaned halves.

Ingredients

  • Kiwi - 1 kg
  • Water - 1.5-2 l
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar - 150 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the kiwi, cut into halves and put in sterile jars.

Add spices, like star anise or cinnamon, if desired.

Pour boiling water over the kiwi, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the water, boil it again and pour the kiwi again.

Leave for another 10 minutes, drain again, add sugar and bring to a boil again.

Add citric acid to the syrup, pour kiwi and roll up the jars.
