Only fruit compote for winter can be better than homemade fruit compote. It is he who will save in the season when there are practically no fresh fruits and vitamins. This time I'm sharing a recipe from country apples and plums.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 700 g
  • Plums - 500 g
  • Water - 1.5-2 l
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the fruit into slices and put it in sterile jars.

Cover them with sugar and pour boiling water over them, and then cover with a lid.

After 10 minutes, drain the syrup, boil it again, and pour the fruit again.

Repeat the previous step completely, add citric acid to the jars and roll up the compote.
