This is a simple jam recipe that can be made from fresh hawthorn. In the process, you will need sugar and lemon juice to create a brighter taste and aroma. This jam can be served for breakfast or used as a filling for pies.

Ingredients

  • Hawthorn - 1 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l .

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Go through the hawthorn, fill with water and boil for 20 minutes until soft.

Grind it through a sieve.

Add sugar and lemon juice to the puree, stir and bring to a boil again.

Cook the jam for another 20 minutes on low heat and roll it into sterile jars.
