- Apples - 250 g
- Sugar - 70 g
- Water - 850 ml
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples, remove the core, cut into medium slices. Place the slices in a prepared sterile jar.
Boil water, pour boiling water into a jar with apples, cover with a lid and leave to infuse for 15-20 minutes.
Then drain the water from the jar into a saucepan, add sugar and citric acid, bring the syrup to a boil and boil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the boiling syrup back into the jar with apples. Roll up the jar, turn it over, wrap it up and leave it to cool completely. Store the finished apple compote in a cool, dark place.
