Like most fans of home preservation, I have about a dozen proven recipes for pickled cucumbers. Usually I choose according to the mood or make a couple of different jars. For example, these cucumbers in French are very good.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 500 g
- Grainy mustard - 1 tsp.
- Water - 300 ml
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 2 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
- Cherry leaves - 1 piece
- Currant leaves - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pre-soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Place them tightly in a soda-washed jar.
Add the leaves and mustard.
Boil water with sugar and salt, add vinegar and pour cucumbers.
Sterilize the jar for 25 minutes in boiling water and roll it up.
